A nice complication of New wave and indie music, Chris Difford has certainly upped his standards with his new album, The last temptation, the perfect guitar riffs, sounding like hawaiian style music, but at the same time, the kickin’ drum beats and marvelous bass, along with Chris’s brilliant vocal talents, create the ultimate album.

Now, i’m not really into Indie or New wave, but I do like this album, a hint of rock gives it that extra boost, and ultimately, gives rock fans something to listen to when listening to this album.

A couple of songs, in particular, highlight the mix of Indie and new wave, in a way that it sounds entirely different from it’s orignal genres. The bass and guitar mix together in all of his songs, and this sounds great, a little like blues actually.  On the cover, Chris Difford is dressed as Tony Hancock.

All of the songs are good on the ears, and are very enjoyable to listen to, no heavy stuff, no fast riffs. Great. If  you like slow, mild music, this is perfect for you! I like the occasional break from my punk and rock, so I choose to listen to music like this, particularly from Chris.
