Basshunter is known for heavily synthesized bass lines, that can pack a punch into any subwoofer (trust me, i’ve tried). And this album contains a lot of it!

The main version is in swedish, but if that’s not your style, and you like to know what the song means, Basshunter has created an English version!

The song, “Now you’re gone” Is actually a remake of the song from another band, but it wasn’t originally a techno/funk song. This song is probably the highlight of the album, containing many heavy bass rythmes, great drum beat, and the awesome voice of Basshunter himself.

If you haven’t heard Basshunter, it’s typically the type of music that’s blasted out of vauxhall nova windows as they drive past, forcing innocent pedestrians ear drums to explode, the pedestrian then bursts out into rage and throws a brick at the car. Hmmm, Some exageration yes, but Basshunter is critisized for being “Chav” music, but Basshunter isn’t all that bad, and if you actually listen to some of the music, you’ll realise.

So, buy Now you’re gone, along with a subwoofer and some stereo speakers, plug into Hi-Fi and bask in the knowledge that soon you’re ear drums will be reduced to nothing but skin.

That aside… This album is very unique, and Basshunter is a pioneer of this type of music, and I definitely recommend buying it.

If extreme bass, synthesized drums, edgy lyrics and superb vocals are your style, basshunter is most definitely for you.
