According to producer James Ford, the Arctic Monkeys, the upstart band which released its first album in 2006, will be heading into a more “psychdelic” direction with their third album, currently untitled.  Ford told the Daily Star, ”It’s too early to say what sort of direction they’ll go in next, but they’ve got at least one tune up their sleeves that sounds massive already.”  Many fans say that they had seen something like this coming due to some songs on their previous album, Favourite Worst Nightmare. Either way, it will be interesting to see this new direction.  No date has been given for the release of the album.
